Guanxi.
The Olympic Games is just one week away, more and more people arrive in
Guanxi, a mobile search service by mInfo, may offer some helps to you. Check this video from the Wall Street Journal. (You may need to visit the blog to view the embed video)
mInfo Acquires Mobile Search Service Guanxi
Besides Guanxi, which is an English SMS search service acquired by mInfo, mInfo also operates Chinese SMS/WAP search. Recently mInfo was selected by Beijing Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games (BOCOG) as the mobile search provider for the official Olympics mobile site.
According to an article on Shanghai Daily, mInfo will announce a new round of financing from existing investors and new investors within two months. mInfo has raised about $10 million from investors such as Staenberg Capital.
The article also said “The company’s revenue will jump four or five times in 2008 and it will become profitable in the first quarter of 2009″.
